Chris Rene is a 28 year former addict and trash collector from Santa Cruz. Chris found himself on The X Factor stage performing an original song at his audtion. He has always had a passion for music and now has a renewed passion for life. Looking to improve his life after a long struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. Chris is now focusing on furthering his music career. In 2009 prior to auditioning for The X Factor Chris released an album Soul'd Out.
